Working on a round canvas despite its perfect shape does present its own challenges of harmony and balance, a challenge that I embrace with relish. I see the round as a symbol of nature, flowers, seeds, a Universal symbol reflecting the notion of unity, wholeness, the perfect circle and the self.
Like the cycle of life which tends to go in a circular fashion, in "My blue dream" the homogenous fish swim embraced by a warm blue ocean, moving and working together as a unit knowing that there is safety in numbers within the circle. In a dreamlike state and mesmerized by the light they move in an endless rhythm of movement.
