About the Artwork
Standing at the waters edge. Suggestion of a boat ramp interrupts the otherwise natural shoreline of Green Lake. Marshy grasses and sky reflections combine in dramatic contrast. Glowing growth and verdant greens become golden foliage with a backdrop of graphic Pine patterns. Soft layers of sky and haze rise in the distance.
Glowing glazes were left unpainted to enhance the color and spatter effect in foliage & foreground.
