Watching the last shadows climb the rough stony bluffs that overlook the valley near Lillooet BC. Luminous red in the natural stone and grainy slopes with the rim of treeline across the peaks and ridges.
I love this dry grassy land, of dramatic slopes and open spaces.
Layers of textured glazes, spatter & drybrush in acrylic create an organic pattern suggesting grainy slopes and distant hillside shadows & terrain.
