A bountiful garden blooms, filling a once-barren bed with colour.
This painting is created with acrylic skins upcycled from my painting pallette, and applied in a collage fashion.
Using multi-coloured pieces of acrylic paint, a mosaic-like quality is achieved.

Janice's work has an impressionistic bent which evolves with each piece. Her use of texture is abundant, giving a visual and physical tactile presence. Using palette knives as her main tool, her work reflects the energy and urgency she feels while creating.
"While painting, I am aware that I am transported from everything around me. My focus is completely on what I am doing, moving quickly with my chosen painting tools. It is an instinctual process as I react to what I see and feel while a painting reveals itself to me."
