This fanciful garden was painted with acrylic paints and inks on transparent duralar (an acetate-like paper) so that the lights shine through, giving an effect somewhat like stained glass. My original intention was to frame the work in a clear plexiglass box so that light could enter from all sides, but the cost was prohibitive. A simple aluminum frame seemed a reasonable choice.
