About the Artwork
This artwork was created during a unique 2020 Spring and inspired by an Easter Lily, This hand carved Alabaster stone was sourced from Portugal. Alabaster has a natural translucence that glows in any type of backlighting, even on a cloudy day. The stone is carefully carved on both sides to allow the right amount of backlight to show the effect of light, translucence and the delicate finish. The stone is mounted on a 10 inch acrylic plate holder and weighs 12 lbs. Easy to maintain with occasional dusting.
