This painting emerged organically, with no plan other than to let it become what it needed to be. The colors, dynamic and intense, evoke the powerful and often unpredictable nature of fire, while the organic forms of the flowers offer a sense of renewal and hope.
As I worked, I couldn't help but think of the fires in LA, and I hope that this work serves as a positive force, transmuting something challenging into beauty and light for those affected.
This painting is a heartfelt expression of resilience, transformation, and the potential for healing.

At her core, Jacqueline is drawn to the magic and beauty of the natural world, whether in the majesty of its landscapes or the whimsy of its creatures. She is moved by our connection to it as a species, and aims to invoke that feeling of connection in her art.
