About the Artwork
This is a portrait of Gernomino, completed in consultation with Bert Crowfoot, a great great grandson of a Crowfoot Chief from here in Alberta. He coached me on the appropriate appearance of elements of the painting (including the type of feathers and appropriate colours) to make the painting appear as authentic as possible. Geronimo has a tragic and complex history which I would encourage you to check out! This is one of the most challenging paintings I have done.
