I’ve painted many Alleys en Plein air. Back alley have a special appeal and is a thing can happen in a landscape of sometimes kaos and disarray. I have seen a bob cat follow me walking the fence as I painted. I was asked once by a home owner why I was painted in an Alley . I responded it was the light I was interested in, and pointed out where Inwas focused on. He responded, well I would have never thought to look at it that way , yes your right he said the light is wonderful on the fences. I think I did my job! To help others see what I see , through the artists eyes.
