Based on some Plein air studies. To get this particular viewpoint, I was paint from the cocos nest that the home owner built as a lookout on the roof of his house. I did a series of studies , and he commissioned me to do a larger version. .I originally met his as he stopped to tell me of a great view from his property of the whole Valley.
