About the Artwork
This mixed media piece was inspired by human aspirations and constraints. Vibrant colours and radiant metal leaf evoke optimism and opportunity. The formal composition, straight lines and crisp edges impose structure, but unstructured paint application reflects freedom, dynamism and enjoyment. The window introduces movement through the picture plane and perhaps invites introspection.
