About the Artwork
Integration is from a series based on mathematical concepts, and stylistically refers to the Op Art movement that emerged in the 1960s. These works introduce three dimensionality and movement through the use of line, colour and contrast but maintain a certain playfulness in their approach. The elements of this drawing are based on symbols from Integral Calculus.
