The death knell seems imminent for single family housing in the city. Space intensive sparsely populated suburban housing is being replaced by space efficient people intensive high-rise developments. Suburban green space with its gardens, bees and songbirds becomes a cold concrete jungle. Is there a better way to achieve society’s goals, or could there be better goals?
