Kanaka Creek has been flowing along its course, through Maple Ridge, BC, for thousands of years. It is a tranquil stream with ancient trees lining its banks. It is full of geological history of the various ice ages that deposited the many boulders found within its course.

My artwork has always focused on detail. After high school, I enrolled in two full-time art programs and became the student who produced hyper-detailed, realistic art. I painted what I saw, capturing the serenity of the local scenery, natural textures, and subtle colour variations.
"I focus on what I see in nature. No need to exaggerate; the natural beauty and details are impressive enough."
