Kanaka Creek is a place I know well. It flows through Cliff Park and empties into the Fraser River in Maple Ridge. It's a beautiful creek. In some places, it is tranquil, and in others, it is quite rugged. It is a waterway where you can spend an entire day relaxing on its shores.

My artwork has always focused on detail. After high school, I enrolled in two full-time art programs and became the student who produced hyper-detailed, realistic art. I painted what I saw, capturing the serenity of the local scenery, natural textures, and subtle colour variations.
"I focus on what I see in nature. No need to exaggerate; the natural beauty and details are impressive enough."
