About the Artwork
While on a road trip in B.C. we stopped to admire the view and I was captivated by the beautifully integrated mix of trees, sky and water. I wanted to capture the movement and colour of the sky as a backdrop to the trees that were reaching up to it. The interplay of light with form made the scene come alive at that special moment.
