Marijean Harris is a Canadian contemporary landscape painter based in Fergus, Ontario. Her work moves between realism and abstraction, drawing on the Canadian landscape as both a physical place and a source of memory and imagination. Working intuitively with layered acrylic, oil, and expressive mark-making, she explores atmosphere, light, and the emotional experience of place. Harris holds an Honours degree in Visual Art and Art History from York University and a diploma in Graphic Design from Humber College. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and an elected exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
