Calvin Chan (丹峰) is a Hong Kong painter. He received his academic training in physics and engineering, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and did not have the opportunity to pursue formal studies in fine arts. Nonetheless, his enduring engagement with art may be traced to early influences from his father, through which he developed a deep and lasting appreciation for artistic practice.
Following his retirement, Chan established two art galleries in Hong Kong for 15 years. holding over 100 times of Art Exhibition, At this endeavor afforded him sustained and direct exposure to a broad spectrum of masterworks from diverse style, significantly shaping his visual sensibility.
