About the Artwork
My greatest JOY is walking quietly amongst trees in the forest, acknowledging their importance in the cycle of life. This rapturous tree reaches heavenward, so poised, strong, so profoundly beautiful.
Trees nurture us, provide sustenance to all living things and should be cared for and cherished.
To destroy our trees is injurious. This painting is of one of the giant sequoia trees in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, probably about 113 years old.
