About the Artwork
I was inspired during covid when I had a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit delivered to my door. This was a sketch for a ten painting series that was exhibited at the Glencoe Sports Club in Calgary. I love the shape and form of the watermelon pieces; almost reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House.
