I believe painting is a non verbal way to tell a narrative. What a better visual image then a rotting whaling skiff on the shore of Deception Island in Antarctica. The whale population has been decimated, the whaling factories in decay, the sailors dead, and the boats decomposing. I also tried a new water based Cobra paint and really loved the results.
