In keeping with the fluorescent pink paint to signify the dire straights of my "Endangered Species Series", I painted these Hartman zebras in pink fluorescent stripes. It is a true conundrum. Are zebras white with black stripes or black with white stripes? Or perhaps fluorescent pink in the future? The artistic license to paint them with pink stripes and sparkles focuses awareness to the ever changing morphing and hybrid mating happening in the animal kingdom.
