This painting is my attempt to capture how fractured and disrupted the world has felt to me these days, on both a personal and world level—loved ones facing health crises, the catastrophic violence of war and global warming, upheaval and hardship, the inhumanity of rage and hatred—and yet, and yet....glimmering through all this is the beauty of this dear endangered planet, the moments of kindness between people, the hope that keeps rising through the cracks.
