About the Artwork
The parts and pieces that cover the grey soils of Alberta include trees. I love the tall deciduous ones that remind me of flags. They are determined to grow amongst the pines, on windy hillsides and survive through horrible conditions. This homage playfully shows the quilted comfort of the forrest.
