Danielle Grisnich works primarily in acrylics, pencils, and watercolours to depict idealised, symbolic landscapes and warm portraits. Her portraits illustrate childhood dreaminess and play as well as adult contemplation. Her landscapes employ circular compositions, warm light, and natural textures to evoke peace and protection.

"The lines, colours, and patterns in people and in nature sound to my mind like music. When I imagine a composition, it needs to sing to me: perhaps ethereal and haunting, or comforting and homey, or adventurous and exhilarating."
