About the Artwork
There is something enchanting about rocky sea stacks topped with trees. This scene in beautiful Tofino BC captures a sea stack and crowning growth during a change in the weather. A sudden break in the clouds lit the sea stack and landscape with a warm, late afternoon glow, highlighting a double tree that against all odds had grown from stump of a once huge felled tree. ‘Radiance is painted with great reverence for the will of this tree to survive and be honoured through art.
