"Pathways" has been Ciara Allen's largest creation on canvas to date. For nearly two years, she tirelessly worked around this canvas and she found her way to thinking about pathways and connectivity. How to find an opening where you see a closed door. In a time where humans feel more disconnected from each other than ever before, Allen focused on finding the connections we all have to each other through a maze of pathways, each other leading somewhere and connecting with some other road. A lover of abstract, colour and texture, "Pathways" represents a large part of who Allen is inside: a flurry of excitement, blasts of bright colours and an ability to stay positive through the darkest of days.

"Pathways" brings together a feeling of tribal art, a connection to her Celtic home of Ireland and a yearning to normalise the ability to make big and bold decisions.
