As many cat owners can tell you, cats enjoy sitting in the sun. One day while I watched my cat enjoy this little patch of paradise, I noticed that when he went to groom himself it looked like he was going to interact with his shadow. Maybe there was a dialogue going on, maybe not, because he's never going to tell.

Cheryl Painter
Duncan, British Columbia
Cheryl Painter; yes - as ironic as it may seem, “Painter” really is her surname!
She strives for a very painterly or impressionistic effect, intentionally showing her brushstrokes and creating more of an experience rather than an exact depiction.
"“I like to think that the brushstroke can add to the viewers experience of the image.”"
