About the Artwork
If someone is not familiar with the high tides of Nova Scotia, one can wonder why there are boats way down below the docks. Waiting for high tide, accessible via sometimes rickety ladders, the boats gently rock lower down. I liked the patterns of lines and the play of dark shadows below the docks again the water. Oil on canvas.
