Terri’s love of painting began as a young teen and has gone through various transformations throughout the years. She studied at Emily Carr University earning a BFA and then later earned a BEd from UBC. Terri has experimented in many mediums but mainly focuses on painting now. Her present work is inspired by BC’s Westcoast and surrounding nature. Through her compositions and use of colour, brushstrokes and light she seeks to transport the viewer to a mesmerizing state that awakens a connection to the natural world. Terri strives to capture the intricate essence and personality of the magical Westcoast landscape where she lives and so dearly loves.
