About the Artwork
I paint to express my joy of colour and to communicate my thoughts and feelings about a woman's experiences and journeys. The woman in this painting travels, as if on a magic carpet, into time and space. The angles and mysteries of the world present themselves as she moves through it, while the sun sustains and encourages her on her quest.
