About the Artwork
There seems to be more male Wood Ducks then females on the pond in the spring. These two would come to the berm together but could not entice a female away from her chosen suitor. They arrive in the semi darkness and even if you do not see their marvelous colour well you can see the ripples in the water and watch their activity.
