Elizabeth Backman is a Canadian artist whose creative journey began in Montreal and now continues in Langley, BC. With a background in fashion design and a successful clothing manufacturing business, she developed a strong eye for colour and composition. Travel to her New York showroom and across Europe refined her aesthetic and deepened her appreciation for art and design.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the West Coast, she works primarily in oils, exploring forests, water, wildflowers, and quiet outdoor spaces. Her goal is to convey tranquility and beauty in her paintings.
Elizabeth is an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and participates actively in several local art clubs. Her work is shown regularly in regional gallery exhibitions.
