About the Artwork
Small log jams of trunks, limbs and branches play an important role in the ecosystem of a steam by creating pools where organisms and life can grow. This piece is done using watercolor pouring techniques where each layer or value is masked from lightest to darkest as deeper values and colors are added to the piece.
