The one common denominator in our diverse Canadian landscape is snow and along with it the annual man-made canyon walls we call the snowbank. These roadside walls are filled with large shapes of chunky balls of ice and snow that stand in marked contrast to the gentle blankets of snow that overlay all else. On a sun filled day they become a remarkable subject of study for the artist’s paintbrush.
