I have been trying to preserve these Glaciers in paint as part of my "Glaciers of Canada" series. Climate change threatens to melt these glaciers away and will severely impact the water supply of Alberta and Saskatchewan when they are gone. The "Toes" of Crowfoot Glacier have already mostly melted away so that it is losing the look that gave it its name of Crowfoot.

I have found myself attracted to bold colours, so I would have to say that I am a colourist. The subject matter is not that important, but I am drawn to scenes from nature; in particular landscapes.
"Nature is the inspiration for Art."
