When my children were young we would find wild beautiful places near our home to explore. We drove, then hiked up a small mountain to find blue huckleberries, but found this amazing muskeg (bog) where the kids delighted in the waterbugs. The blue reflections were my treasure of the day.

Every day I experience something in nature that invokes a response: a need to create and express an instance in time. I love the challenge of creating texture, reflection, and light. I'm grateful to live where this is evident in abundance each day.
