Pamela Ross
Chatham, Ontario
Pamela was a visual arts educator for 30 years who dedicated herself to the education of children, adults and teachers in high school, college and university. She has retired to spend time working on her dream of painting for herself.
Her focus prior to retirement was the mastering of many diverse media so that she could share the knowledge with her students. The media consisted of oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel (oil and chalk), pen and ink, graphite, pencil crayon, ceramics and sculpture (busts) in clay. Thus, she still finds herself using many of these since particular pieces tend to call for a specific media.
The subject matter of her work is diverse: rock formations, seascapes, flowers, portraits, and still life.
