While many subjects fascinate me, the landscape holds a special place in my heart. The ever-changing and unique beauty of nature serves as an inspiring source of creative energy for me. The ongoing journey of capturing the enigmatic light and grandeur of the natural world keeps me experimenting and, hopefully, evolving as an artist.
I honed my artistic skills through a combination of formal education, workshops, and apprenticeship with professional artists, most recently with Vladimir Ribatchok, a signature member of the Oil Painters of America and a graduate of the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg.
While I’m always experimenting, I mostly work in oil medium and an impressionistic style, combining classic multilayer approaches and techniques.

True art is not something artificial and alien; rather, it is deeply earthy and human, touching our lives and emotions, inspired by the genuine natural beauty around us.
