Evelyn Peters McLellan
Delta, British Columbia
I started painting in late 2019. A long-time admirer of art, I had finally decided to try my hand at painting using acrylics and canvas. My goal was landscapes, but after a few years of hard work and enjoyment painting those, I started feeling a pull in another direction - abstracts.
My current work features acrylic paint, oil and wax pastels and coloured pencil on paper or wood panel. This is an exciting time for me as I start to participate in the Federation's juried exhibits and show my work online on my own website. I hope viewers enjoy looking at my works as much as I enjoy creating them!

My pieces are an exploration of form, colour and texture in various media. My efforts don't always work, which makes the successes enormously satisfying!
