Hugh Partridge

Hugh is a self-taught artist from BC, and tends to find his greatest inspiration from everyday surroundings and interactions. Working mostly in watercolor, he will often paint outdoors from observation, a technique that is often referred to as ‘plein air’ painting. His goal is to use artistic expression to capture moments in time that tell a story, inspire, and resonate with people.
So much of my journey artistically has to do with where I have travelled, and the amazing people I have met along the way. These are the ingredients that inspire me to create. Without them, there would be no story to tell.
