About the Artwork
One of the many places in Africa that inspired me was Namibia where I visited on many occasions. Deserts, sand storms. Sand and Wind III... I want people to hear the silence at the heart of a sand storm. To see the color of the wind. To feel the vibration of the desert sand when it is lifted and tossed about by the storm.
