About the Artwork

The Folk explores how simple geometric elements can evolve into recognizable identities and narratives. A constellation of blue and yellow triangles assembles into a gathering of bird-like forms, their beaks and bodies emerging from abstraction. The composition invites viewers to discover familiar shapes within a seemingly fragmented structure, much like finding images in clouds.

Embedded within one of the birds is my signature visual language—a dense network of symbols, stories, and imagined characters. This hidden world contrasts with the simplicity of the surrounding geometric forms, suggesting that beneath every outward shape lies a richer inner life.

The Folk celebrates the relationship between abstraction and recognition, form and meaning, encouraging viewers to engage in the act of discovery and create their own connections within the work.
