I, like many others, that grew up in the 1960's and 70's lived on a small, mixed farm. Winters were long and tough so we were all excited when the snow began to melt. Our unending chores were always more enjoyable to do in the warm weather. The fields would often flood but then the grass turned green. In spite of our hard work, years later all my heart remembers is the warmth and love of home.
