Ziyi Huang (b. 1995, Xiamen, China) is an oil painting artist currently living and working in Hangzhou, China. He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Fine Arts from China Academy of Art. His international experience includes an exchange program at Maryland Institute College of Art (2024), as well as artist residencies at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris, France (2018–2019) and Viļaka, Latvia (2025). His artistic practice is mainly informed by personal journeys and everyday life, exploring the complex relationship between the individual and the environment, simultaneously characterized by strangeness and intimacy. His work has been exhibited internationally in China, Japan, France, the UK, Canada, Italy, and Latvia. He has held solo exhibitions in Xiamen and Hangzhou, China.
