Taylor Maid Art (™) is the trademark Carol created as a nostalgic tribute to her maiden name and to her heritage on a farm in Nokomis, Saskatchewan. Carol enjoys membership in many artist groups in Penticton, BC. She works with several mediums (acrylic, oil, and watercolor) Drawing has been a joy since childhood but she didn’t use paint until later in life when she travelled with an artist friend to northern Italy where its historical buildings, warm light, and culture brought out the desire to capture fleeting moments with a pencil and watercolor paint. Her love of skies has been influenced in childhood under the ever-changing big sky in Saskatchewan and later experiencing the warm glow of skies in Italy.
