Marilynn's favourite subjects are city scapes, fashion, figures, and birds. She tries to portray them as accurately as possible, but inevitably errors occur, which often adds the appeal. Pencil is an old favourite, but having learned people love colour, she's embraced the challenge. Though minimally trained, she has been painting five decades and likes experimenting with different materials and ways to use them. Ten years as a figure model has exposed her to many styles and teaching methods - as well as the students. :) Humour is sometimes seen in her art, though as a younger woman, dark and stormy emotions often glared through.
