Milad

North Vancouver, British Columbia

Milad is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and sculptor based in North Vancouver with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Iran, he blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary ideas, exploring themes of migration, memory, nature, and cultural identity. His work includes painting, sculpture, model making, and installation. Milad has exhibited widely across Vancouver through the Federation of Canadian Artists and previously taught in leading art institutions in Tehran. A graduate in Graphic Design with a background in painting, he is currently studying Fine Art at Emily Carr University. Milad is also the founder of Van-Go Art Studio, a mobile art classroom focused on creative learning for children and seniors. His practice is both poetic and rooted in hands-on experience.
Art is my way of translating silence, stories, and the spirit of nature into form. Whether through clay, wood, or paint, I aim to create spaces for reflection and connection—especially for those often unheard.
