Riley Nicholson was born and raised in Victoria B.C. and began drawing and sculpting at a very young age, going from high school to attend ECUAD. There he switched to Industrial Design after being encouraged that it was the more “practical” career financially, and graduated with a Bachelor Degree. Since then, Riley has switched back to his real passion for fine art, and in 2018 turned to pursuing his dream working as a full time artist. His artistic influences draw from many eras and other artists, like E.J. Hughes to Goya and David Hockney.
