Monica Burrow works in acrylic on canvas or cradled wood panel, indoors and en plein air. Born in Vancouver BC, she has spent time exploring throughout the local mountains, BC, the Yukon, and the western USA, looking at the subtleties and the variety in the natural landscape.
Her work shows an attraction to colour and composition. Monica is drawn to the play of light, the formations of clouds and weather systems, details in nature, and rich colour - either actual or imagined.
